“The Church exists to connect people at the level of their hunger for a new world.”

Video Resources

While none of these videos are short form, you can get a sense of my personality and style.

This workshop was given in January for Christian educators. Approximately 50 people were present and another 50 online.

This is a part of a series held by the Michigan UMC Conference.

This workshop was fully scripted, and unfortunately there wasn’t much time within the block for conversation outside of their breakout groups. When we hold it again live, we will remedy this for a more natural flow.

This is a workshop I led for Practical Resources for Churches covering social media basics. You may have to fill out the form to access the video.

These are examples of emails I send to my list of 1600 subscribers.

Digital Resources

The links below take you to Google Drive folders where the resources I publish are stored. An easy place to start is by checking out the social media images in each resource. Some resources also come with suggested captions for churches to use each day. These resources are used across mainline denominations and in the US, Canada, and Australia.

Social Posts

I confess I’m often so focused on creating social posts for others, that I neglect to post frequently myself. My followers are far more engaged in my FB group than on my FB/Instagram pages.

About Jo

As both a pastor and also while running Vibrant Church Communications, Jo encourages others connect with God where they are. Whether that’s sipping a cup of coffee and being guided in a gratitude practice on social media, taking a walk and encountering the Divine, or using a digital prayer resource—spirituality can be incorporated into daily life in so many ways.
